My name is Martin

I am born at 18-08-68 in Utrecht, the Netherlands as the last of 8 children in a house bearing number 8. Guess what my favorite number is 😉

I have had a live that some of you would call difficult, I am an adoptive child, I have been homeless for many years, have done drugs and am currently taking care of a dissabled wive (whom I met while homeless btw)

many of these I will probably discuss in this blog but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Although using the nick Mavadelo here (which stands simply for MArtin VAn DEr LOuw) I am better known under the nicknames Whizzy (my öfficial” nick for over 30 years), a1Whizzy (youtube), daWhizzy (severla gaming sites) or Wh1zzy (twitter) so feel free to drop me a line if you encounter those nicks somewhere

      Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging, it’s my pleasure having reblogged your article. We all want our blogs to be seen and reblogging is a good tool for this. If you haven’t done so I would join one (or more) of the facebook share groups. You are welcome in the Blogatorium group of course and I know Shaun from Shaunynews has a share group as well and there are several more groups. Posting your blog links in such groups will certainly bring you some views.

      I did have an interesting life, actually, I still have an interesting life 😉 I hope you will meet many new and interesting bloggers on your journey through the blogging world. Incidentally wordpress tells me you posted this at 9:44 am which would mean a 4 hour difference. Not sure that it is correct though since I assume you are Canadian (or at least living there) and Centre Canada to Centre the Netherlands should be a 7 hour difference.

      • Hi! I will take your advice and join a few Facebook share groups!!! I am a Canadian living in Toronto so not sure what the time difference is…it is 11:55am here, almost lunch time!!!!! Thank you for so warmly welcoming me!!!!!!

    • Hi Barbara. Thank you for your kind comments. I guess a blog s like a new home. It takes a few months before it gets “gezellig” and I think it is starting to get there.
